Victor Marinov was born in Sofia, Bulgaria and has been working with electronic music for more than 10 years.

In 2000 at the Underground Festival in Prague, Czech Republic he performed as his first independent project called "Victor's Mob".
Working with different samples, analogic synths,modules and softwares Victor succeeds in creating his own sound in the area of dance music, but also experiments successfully with ambient music.

Recently Victor has turned his attention toward psychedelic trance. Getting inspiration from new tendencies, magic parties and festivals the new music made by "Victor's Mob" gains progressive sound, but keeps its individual style and character. From the DJ's position he prefers to play "Psy and Full on Trance", "Chill Out".

At the beginning of 2004 a new progressive trance project "Neocrome" has been created by Victor's Mob. Parts have been presented at the first party of the "Headoneast production" on the 12.03.04 in Sofia together with Son Kite /Sweden/ and other outstanding artists fom the worldwide trance scene. Shortly after, Victor was invited to perform in Potsdam and Berlin. On the 03.04.04 he played in Amsterdam at the "Psychic Adventures" party together with DJ Axel /Spirit Zone-Hamburg/, Psychic Om /Psychic Adventures/, Sasha /Alien Safari - South Africa/ etc.

Other Projects

Victor is the main member and founder of Vataff Project /www.vataff.com/. This is an open chill out project in which different musicians work together. It exists since the autumn of 2001 and 2 albums have been released so far. The first album titled "Vataff Project" was released in 2002 by Victor's own label for ambient and chill out music "Moving Sound System". The album includes traditional bulgarian instruments, like bag pipes, percussions and ethno vocals, which are successfully mixed with the electronic base of the music. Guest musicians are Schtoni Kokudev /bag pipe/, Panayot Angelov /percussion/. In 2004 the second album of Vataff Project "Reid" was released, in which two other guest musicians, Aura Raskon from Mexico /flute/ and Vesselin Mitev /kaval and vocals/ take part. This album has also been released by "Moving Sound System". Vataff Project took part in different parties, festivals in Bulgaria, Slovenia, Germany and Netherlands. Their latest performance was at "Boomfestival 2004", Portugal, chill out zone /one of the biggest open air festivals in Europe for trance, ambient and other types of electronic music and art/.

History

During the 90's Victor has composed the electronics of two unique formations, "Dve Kupeta" and "Band of mad women". Together with these projects he has released 5 albums so far and played in different countries - Hungary, Czech Republic, Austria. He made the music and visions for four music performances. Moreover he writes theatre and film music.

In the year 2002 he was invited with "Vataff Project" by the advertisement company "Triggerhappyproductions". There he worked with the Director Zoran Bihach and the camera man Robbi Mueller /who shoots most of the films of Wim Wenders/

Victor has organazied and performed in the festival "Slunceluna" for ethno-ambient music and performance, which was held in the Rodopi mountains, Bulgaria in 2002 /www.slunceluna.dir.bg/.

He is also a member of the new hungarian-bulgarian trance organization "Headoneast Productions" /www.headoneast.com/.
